Every property move is different. A one-bedroom flat with lift access is not the same job as a multi-floor house with restricted parking, so AVB confirms the scope before the booking. Photos and a realistic item list help estimate loading space and time.
Before requesting your quote
Include both postcodes, the number of rooms, large furniture, white goods, stairs or lifts, parking restrictions and whether help is available at either end. For larger jobs, mention if more than one loading run may be necessary.
Moving-day preparation
- Box smaller items and label fragile contents.
- Empty and secure cupboards and drawers where practical.
- Disconnect appliances before collection unless separately agreed.
- Reserve safe loading access near the property.
- Keep keys, documents and valuables with you.
