Collections for bulky purchases
AVB can collect items such as sofas, beds, wardrobes, tables, appliances and other large purchases where a van is needed. Store collections and private-seller collections can both be arranged.
Details that prevent surprises
Send the collection and delivery postcodes, item dimensions if available, photos or a product link, and information about stairs or difficult access. If an item needs dismantling before it can be moved, mention that when requesting the quote.
Marketplace and second-hand purchases
For Facebook Marketplace and similar purchases, confirm that the item is ready for collection and that someone will be present at the agreed address. AVB can then plan the journey and loading time around the collection.
Local starting price
Eligible local collections may start from £60 within approximately 8 road miles of the customer's pickup postcode. Final pricing depends on the size and handling requirements of the item, access and the journey.
